1. What we collect

Glory collects only what it needs to work. Depending on the features a server enables, this can include:

  • Server data: server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs and the settings you configure (prefix, welcome message, auto-mod rules, etc.).
  • Lookup queries: the username you ask Glory to look up is sent to that platform's public API. We do not store lookup queries tied to your Discord identity.
  • Operational logs: command usage and error logs, kept briefly for debugging and abuse prevention.

We do not read, scan or store general chat messages except where an auto-mod filter you enabled requires checking a message at the moment it is sent; those messages are not retained.

2. Why we collect it

  • To run the lookups you ask for, by querying each platform's public API with the name you provide.
  • To remember your server's settings between restarts.
  • To keep the Bot stable and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or build profiles of users.

3. Storage & retention

Data is stored in a database controlled by us. Server settings and moderation records are kept while the Bot is in your server and deleted within 30 days of the Bot being removed. Reminders are deleted once delivered. Operational logs are kept for no more than 14 days.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers that host the Bot (for example our hosting and database providers), and only to the extent needed to run the service. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. The website & “Connect Discord”

When you click Connect Discord on this website, you are taken to Discord's own authorisation page. If you approve, Discord gives us a short-lived token that lets us read your basic profile (username, avatar, user ID) and the list of servers you are in, so we can show which servers you can add the Bot to. We store this in a session cookie in your browser and do not keep it on our servers after you log out. The website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of, or deletion of, data associated with your Discord user ID or your server at any time. Server owners can also delete server data by removing the Bot. To exercise these rights, contact us (section 9). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honour those requests.

7. Children

The Bot is not intended for anyone under Discord's minimum age (13). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Bot evolves. The date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced in our support server.
